Ahangama Surf Location is one of the less surfed spots on the south coast. It’s mostly surfed by guests who stay at hotels in front of the surf break. It has a shallow sharp reef so your take off should be perfect. Point’s ideal tropical conditions will have you surfing from early morning to mid day at a stretch. If you’re in for snorkeling, reef around Ahangama is only second to Pigeon Island in Trincomalee.
